Bowman Supplied Materials for The #1 Reclamation Project of 2020 in the USA!

Bowman supplied materials for the Carr Fire Recovery Project, which was recently named The #1 Reclamation Project of 2020 in the USA by Storm Water Solutions! Tom Bowman, in partnership with Bill Agnew and Pacific Coast Seed, helped find the right products to help with erosion and sediment control on these high-severity burn areas. Native and rice straw, hydraulic bonded fiber matrix, native perennial and annual seed, Biosol Forte slow-release fertilizer and mycorrhizae were all used on this project.

Areas treated with Biosol Forte, in particular, resulted in 91% herbaceous canopy cover established in the 1st growing season, and 12 times less sediment discharged to downstream locations.
